This cone-shaped pestle is designed to press cooked and partially cooked foods through a chinois (sold separately) with a scrape/sweep motion. It has an extended 8" length, which is sized to reach into a similarly sized chinois or conical strainer. Made of beautiful and durable wood with a rounded handle that rests neatly in your palm.
